The Construction Coordinator is a new position within the organization and the AIP program. This position oversees and performs improvements to the safety, accessibility, energy efficiency and exterior of homes. Examples include installing railings, stair gates, grab bars, minor lighting improvements, ramps, widen doorways, easy-to-use cabinet pulls and lever-style door handles/faucets. The Construction Coordinator will work closely with Habitat staff and healthcare partners to ensure projects best serve the needs of the homeowners, meet grant-funding requirements, and are completed on time and within budget. This position will conduct home assessments to understand the homeowners desire to live safely in their home and coordinate all program requirements and oversee all modification work performed by Habitat. This is an hourly position (approximately 32 hours/week) with benefits.
