Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response
Last update: 3-27-20
Governor Tim Walz announced a Stay at Home Executive Order effective until April 10, 2020.
As of Monday, March 30, the Habitat Douglas County team will work remotely until further notice. During this time, the Habitat office, ReStore and ReStore Donation Center are closed. Our team are working virtually and are available via phone and email. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and re-open our office, our build site and our ReStore as soon as it is safe to do so.
We WILL build in 2020! To our amazing volunteers, we miss you and we will let you know when it is safe to welcome you all back.
All volunteer shifts are canceled through April 30, at the earliest. All events are canceled through May 10, at the earliest.
We look forward to celebrating with you at our Hard Hat Breakfast on September 16, 2020 from 6:15-8 am at Broadway Ballroom and our Home is the Key Lunch on September 29, 2020 from Noon-1 pm at the ReStore.
At Habitat for Humanity, we seek to put God’s love into action not only in times of uncertainty but as our daily mission. We continually work to provide a safe and affordable place to live for Douglas County families. This will not change. Our work and our build site may look a little different, but we will continue to build so we can say “Welcome Home” to more Douglas County families.
