Advocacy means supporting and promoting a cause you believe in.
At Habitat for Humanity, we advocate to change policies and systems to eliminate barriers to adequate and affordable housing. We use our years of experience in the affordable housing space to guide our thoughtful, comprehensive, and forward-looking approach to advocacy.
We know we can’t achieve change alone. Policy advocacy is stronger when we work in partnership with others. By advocating on behalf of Habitat, you lend your voice to a movement that will instate smart housing policy and a system that lets us bring homeownership within reach of more people.
Join Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County to advocate for affordable housing. Because home is the foundation for everything.
