Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County provides donor opportunities to make an honorarium and memorial gifts. Cards are available at the Habitat office at 1211 N Nokomis NE, Alexandria. We will also send a specially designed notification card to the individual of your choice. You may indicate In Honor or Memorial Gifts on your donation form.

Thrivent Choice Dollars

Construction In-kind Donations
Donations of new building materials can be made to Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County construction initiatives. Donations can be made to Habitat in the form of professional services required on construction sites, such as masonry, electrical wiring, plumbing, and more.

Non-construction In-kind Donations/Volunteer
In-kind donations can also be made in the form of non-construction services offered by local donors. Lawyers, accountants, graphic designers, interior designers, and financial counselors are just a few examples of those who have contributed their time and resources to help further Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County's mission.

ReStore Donations
When you donate new or gently used items to a Habitat ReStore, you're making affordable homeownership a reality, and you're also keeping perfectly usable items from needlessly going to waste in a landfill. Donations to the ReStore are tax-deductible.
